VTG Pyrex Green Wheat 575-B 2 QT Promotional Space Saver Dish with Lid & Cradle

VTG Pyrex Green Wheat 575-B 2 QT Promotional Space Saver Dish with Lid & Cradle. This Pyrex Promotional piece was introduced to its customers in the 1960's. It was offered for only a very limited time and was part of the Space Saver line. It is so special because of the rich green color! Sometimes referred to as Emerald or Teal in color.

The casserole dish features a gold wheat pattern on each side of the casserole. It holds 2 quarts, is rectangular in shape, has a heavy domed rectangular lid and a wood handled metal cradle that it nestles into. The lid bears the raised Pyrex logo on one end and the other end is numbered 550-C.

The casserole dish is in great vintage condition! The underside handles may need a tiny bit of cleaning. Overall the lid is in great condition as well with a couple of tiny chips on the underside of it (see photos) Cradle can use a little bit of cleaning but overall in good vintage condition!
