RARE PYREX Casserole Dish WHITE GOLDEN CLASSIC 045 w/ Lid Prototype or Mistake? Rare and hard to find Pyrex Casserole Dish 045 with lid. This was found in the wild as shown.

It is similar to the Golden Classic promotional pattern issued in the 1960s but is printed on a white 045 dish instead of the yellow dish that was released to the public. Possibly an early test run before the yellow version was selected as the final color or a factory mistake.

Casserole Dish is in good condition with no chips. Golden Graphic is in nice condition considering its age.

There is some slight wear on the graphic on one side of the dish as shown in photos. Also a light brown spot on the upper rim of the dish as shown in photos.

Lid is clear glass with no graphics. Golden Classic in yellow has a decorative pattern on the lid but this one does not. Lid is in good shape but does have small chips on the handle/square part of the lid as shown in photos. See photos for more details.
